For over 60 years, BlueScope has been processing and testing pre-painted products for exterior performance in some of the world’s harshest environments. We apply coatings to an array of steel and aluminum substrates as well as offer slitting and embossing services.

Our History
In 2022, BlueScope purchased Metal Coaters and Metal Prep painting assets to form BlueScope Coated Products (BCP). Since this acquisition, BCP has focused its integration efforts on modernizing coating facilities with equipment upgrades and implementing BlueScope’s best-in-class operating and safety practices—all while strengthening and modernizing its technology infrastructure. These improvements aim to create a service-focused foundation that supports our customers and the markets they serve.

National Coil Coating Association
Founded in 1962, the National Coil Coating Association (NCCA) is an established trade organization dedicated to the growth of coil coated products. They provide resources and leadership in order to ensure that coil coated materials are the product of choice.
Consisting of 160 prominent member companies, they provide coil coating services and are leading manufacturers and suppliers of metal, coatings, chemicals, and equipment. The organization’s members also process and warehouse the coil coated products before its delivery to the user industries.
The association’s primary goals:
- Provide information regarding business opportunities that address the changing needs in the marketplace.
- Provide educational resources and assist its members in producing superior products and services to their customers.
- Increase industry awareness.
- Promote the coil coating process.
National Frame Building Association
NFBA is a non-profit trade association that promotes the interests of the post-frame construction industry and its members. The association’s members are post-frame builders, suppliers, manufacturers, building material dealers, code and design professionals, and structural engineers.
